Site gates, laydown yards and haul road crossings are where people, utes and heavy vehicles meet. A spotter at the right point keeps them apart and keeps deliveries moving.

The right spotter at the right point.

We work to your traffic management plan and position spotters where vehicles and people cross paths inside the site.

  • Site entry and exit spotting for deliveries and heavy vehicles
  • Haul road crossing and laydown area spotting
  • Pedestrian separation around loading, unloading and plant movements
  • Checks that barriers, signs and walkways stay in place through the shift

Shift records that match your plan.

Records show where spotters were placed and every event that needed a warning or a stop.

  • Spotting location, start and finish times
  • Vehicle movements and intrusions
  • Warnings, stop work calls and near misses
  • Barrier and signage checks

How pricing works

Quotes are itemised by shift rate, travel, vehicle and equipment, and reporting. Rates are set per spotter per shift.

Send the site location, the work program, the plant on site, your preferred dates and any permit or network operator conditions. We confirm scope, availability and price before work is booked.

Spotting is not traffic control

Directing traffic on a public road needs a traffic controller accredited in that state, working to an approved traffic guidance scheme. Our spotters work inside the site boundary. Where your job needs public road traffic control, we can coordinate with your traffic management provider.

Tickets and competencies

Each shift is filled by personnel holding the tickets and competencies the task requires in that state, such as an endorsed spotter or safety observer course, general construction induction, first aid and CPR, and confined space, gas test or heights units where the work calls for them. Copies are supplied with the quote or before mobilisation on request.

Frequently asked questions

Can your spotters stop traffic on a public road?

No. That needs an accredited traffic controller. Our spotters work within the site boundary.

Can you cover night shifts?

Yes. Spotters bring high visibility clothing rated for night work and lighting where your plan needs it.

How many spotters do I need?

It depends on the layout and the number of crossing points. We walk the site or review the plan and recommend a number with the quote.
